Treatment of Adult Dysplasia of the Hip
Dysplastic hip is defined as less than 20 degrees on the anterior center edge angle of L'Aquence. CT provides adequate assessment of acetabular and proximal femoral osteo-morphology, including excessive antivergent or retroversion. The distal femur should be included in patients with clinical signs of femoral antivergent. A Pavlacharnus, closed and open reductions, spica casting, and proximal Femoral osteotomies should be carried out in the appropriate patients.
