The Limits of Public Pressure on the Environmental Crisis

I think there are measures that people can take to improve their environmental impact. But I am going to acknowledge the limits here, the systemic limits. So the other thing that we need to do is to press in as ardent and collective way as possible for political representation of an alternative way of living. There are two ways in which individuals can make a difference. One is to do what they can as individuals in the form of consuming, or very often not consuming. The other is to take a more active role politically - but that political role obviously then has to feed in by some political party who also have to have enough support to be able to form a government.
