Historiography of Airports
This is a particular intervention in terms of the types of stories I tell here about a region through the lens of the airport. But there is actually quite a bit of writing about airports and flight. There's also a historiography by academic urban historians that often links airports to histories of urban transportation and city and regional development. And, you know, some of this work surveys airports across the nation.
