The Controversy Around Area 51

After Bob Lazar's interview in 1989, the controversy around Area 51 reached a pinnacle. There now is a second smaller mailbox marked simply Alien as a type of landmark or guide for people who want to catch a glimpse of the peculiar flights that come out of the Groom Lake base. Steve Medlin, the owner of the ranch, was not too happy about his place being volunteered as a tourist destination. He even painted the mailbox white to try and deter people from coming there but it hasn't stopped curious travelers.
