Why Aren't the Chemists Thinking Biochemically?
There's probably 20 of us in the world actively working on these kind of questions, specifically to do with origins of life in alkaline hydothermal events. The majority of people working on origin of life are coming at it from very different places. And who's to say we're right and they're wrong? I think e' all right, obviously. R i wouldn't be here. It's a point of view which was pioneered by mike russell and bill martin. A ph d is a doctor of philosophy. There's not enough philosophy in science these days.
