Are You Getting Reindeer as a Species Living in Scandinavia?
Reindeer antler started to appear in small numbers in finished combs in the early eighth century. So well before the start of the viking age, somebody who had a comb that was probably made in somewhere like upland, norway, or used materials that came from uplan norway,. found themselves in this place in denmark which was later to be constantly like a town. It suggests some kind of evidence of of maritime technology. But then it spikes when we hear about reading in the anglositan chronicle - when we start to see changes in silver and around the viking ages.
