What's Happening Between the US and Israel?

I just want to know exactly what is happening between the US and Israel right now. I mean, Aaron David Miller says that no experts are disputing Israeli leaks about more intensive US-Israeli planning for some sort of strike on Iran. And as we speak to each other, I believe I'm right in saying that there is still ongoing a joint US-Israeli military exercise called Juniper Oak. Is it all of this? Designed to send a clear message to Iran that the U.S. and Israel together are right now actively preparing a military plan for an attack on Iran? No, what it's designed to project is number one that we have Israel's back and will work with Israel.
