The Origins of Progressivism
The word progressive is even found in the Vinona dispatches, which are basically encrypted cables from NKVD and GRU agents. And when they want to indicate that someone is a fellow traveler or an ally of the party, they say progressive. The word hasn't really changed since like you go back far enough and it's like Tady Roosevelt, right? You know, so it's sort of a broad, you know, it's much broader in like teens, but you don't really get it being used except as part of the movement.
