Feminist scholar Nainika Mukherjee calls it a narrative license in a way to construct narratives that fits a particular intent paradigm. And so there's always, of course, ways that these silences and speech don't exceed those kinds of paradigms. How can we really engage with those silences and an aberrant speech? That might help us think about justice in a broader way beyond these legalistic kinds of testimonial giving instances.
