Why Is There an Abolition Act?
Britain was still connected with the enslavement of Africans. The financial interest that the white men of property had in this country continued to be connected with human trafficking and slave produce products. And so that those connections continued even when the actual trafficking of people gradually began to peter out throughout the 19th century.
