What's the Primary Form of Evidence on a Field?
The primary form of evidence we're dealing with on battlefields is this unstratified artifac scatter so or farmers with their ploughs. So there's been some really interesting experiments done by doctor glenford on how objects move on battlefields, depending on which crops are in the field. Serial crops tend to be the best, because the plough will drag them a few meters up the field and then the next year it might drag them down the field.
