The Green Movement and the Labour Market Reforms in Iran

There was another mass protest movement that erupted in 2019. Who was in the streets and why and how did the government respond? And where did that movement fit into the longer post-revolutionary history we've been discussing? So yeah, what is interesting is obviously that as soon as Trump is elected in 2016, he is denouncing the Iranian nuclear agreement as the worst deal in history. At the same time, in Iran, like I said, Rouhani wasn't a reformist figure, he wasn't a transformative figure, but nor is he actually delivering on the political front or the economic front.
