Orpheus and the Underworld

There were a few different entrances to the underworld in greece, and the brave or stupid could try to make their way down. Orpheus had no money or weapons, but he did have his lyre. In the murky darkness of the underworld, he began plucking out a tune. It was up beat and encouraging, happy and congenial. He approached the rever stix that separated the underworld from the world of the living. The ferryman scowled at this man playing his lyre as he just walked aboard the ferry.
