Brenner: The Fed is essentially trying to start a new bubble. He says the government in bad times steps in and says, look, we're going to do a stimulus. That means making it easier for the corporations to invest, to employ. Brenner: When that's done on a much more structured way, you get the new deal, we call it restructuring.
