The Effects of Intermedulary Nailing on Leglank Disparity
Internal mal rotation after treatment for a diapaceal femur fracture typically occurs either by internal rotation of the distal segment relative to the proximal. These clinical findings are consistent with an ogenic increase in femeral anteversion. Three dephemeral models were reconstructed for a hundred and 22 paired femurs in 61 young, healthy subjects with no history of hyppathology. They concluded that relying on the anatomic landmarks of the contralateral femur during hiparthoplaste may not necessarily result in restoration of native anatomy and leg length.
