The Relationship Between a Surrogate and a Mother
The couple have been writing a diary of every step that they've gone through to explain it to their child. The surrogate has no connection because you are using the father's sperm or sperm donor depending on the situation and then she carries this child. Some people will bet about the word mother in regards to your surrogate. She doesn't technically and scientifically she does not have any genetic. There's no biological connection but also what is a mother? I mean I was raised by a stepfather. He had no genetic relation to me. But for us we love her so much that I can't imagine not saying anything ... We want her to be part of the journey of the kids growing up too.
