The Long-Term Effects of Hip Preservation Surgery on Pain and Function

After 10 years 85% of patients still have a preserved native hip. After 20 years 60% of the patients still have their native hip. And after 30 years we also have studies but that is of course studies that has been done on PAOs very long time ago. So it appears that it is a very feasible option for patients with hip dysplasia to maintain function, improve pain, maintain their native hip over a relatively long period of time.
