Southampton's Maximum Points in the Premier League
Chelsea could get relegated, but three to four teams with worse records than Chelsea would outperform their season average. Southampton getting a maximum of 44 points just isn't going to happen in any type of world. The resurgent Palace at this point could finish ahead of us in the table under Roy Hodgson. That is more realistic than a lot of other scenarios that sees us going down.
