Is There a Classic Association Between a Medical Condition and a Psychiatric Condition?

In my cancer clinic, I treat the psychiatric conditions primarily and those can range from an adjustment disorder to a preexisting schizophrenia or bipolar illness. And so how do we try and keep them stable while getting them through chemotherapy or radiation to people who have claustrophobia from the radiation treatment. So it's a very huge variety of conditions, mental health conditions that I might be asked to treat or support. Are there any classic associations between a medical condition and a psychiatric condition? For example, a patient gets appendicitis and all of a sudden they develop pyromania.
