Prisoners in Yosgad - The Story of Lockdown
Emma Watson is the author of a new book about World War One. She spent time in an POW camp and was fascinated by what they did to pass the time. The prisoners at yosgad contrived all sorts of entertainments for themselves. They taught continuing education classes and french and spanish, mathematics. And they put on shows such as christmas panto called the fair maiden of Yosgad which had to be rehearsed in secret because it lampooned their captors.
