The Effects of Training History on Performance
Research has really kind of not uncovered any sort of individual genes that somehow would explain why some individuals are basically performing so much better than other individuals personally. I think there is pretty interesting evidence here that training history of these individuals provides a much better explanation here for the individual differences that we see. Even if we take something like the outstanding performance of Kenyan runners when you basically look at the kind of training history that they have and the benefits of training at a high altitude as very young children. A lot of people have talked about those particular runners with the barefoot running playing a role as well. It's going to be up to other people to come along and say well anders got all this wrong
