Richard Mallory's History of Sexual Violence
Richard Mallory pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to a charge of assault with intent to rape and then he was sentenced to four years in prison. After a psychiatric evaluation, apparently he spent 10 years in a mental institution. The jury never heard this information and it obviously could have supported Eileen's claims of self-defense. That information did come at the later stage of the investigation, but it was in fact vetted through the judicial process.
