The Importance of Youth Culture in Cinema
I was this little kid at the end of the table going in. Would you pass a soft canvas Bergen you know and it was a really wondrous sort of innocent time for me. Hollywood had just discovered the power of the young audience with movies like endless love or you know animal house. And so suddenly Hollywood said oh kids go to the movies not once but like five times. I was right there when it happened and that whole group was right there. We were the beginning of youth culture in cinema. You know it didn't exist before that."
