The Importance of Lighting
I'm all for whatever adds realism to the frame and if it looks... if you can make it look beautiful but look honest, then the performances come across as far more honest. So ideally, I will not light things. I'll actually take away light. Like actually block stuff off or add you feel or reflect things in rather than actually put a lighting source in. There one thing you not prefer, but are you lighting a shot and then finding a frame for it? Or are you creating a frame and then lighting into the frame? That doesn't mean I like to take all my clothes off. I just love... very much like Soderbergh. He will only put in cracks
