En fraser was the chairman of saint dunstan's for 50 years. Sir arthur pearson, a newspaper publisher went blind in later life due to glaucoma. He stepped into his bath, slipped on something in the bath, knocked himself out and drowned in his bath. At a tragic end, but his end saw e m fraser promoted to chairman. And then the rest of his history, for him, and under his stewardship saint Dunstan's went from straints to veterans.
