The Challenges of Carbon Offsetting
The world has to decarbonize, and the only way to do it is to make pollution illegal. It's not going to happen through the private sector, because the private sector needs its profit motivations. There have to be major public investments in sustainable energy, sustainable transportation, sustainable agriculture. The countries of the world need to be compensated for their environmental debt for climate debt.
