The Wave Equation and the Particle Revolution

Einstein realized light is a wave and it's a wave of electromagnetism. He looked at the equations for electricity and for magnetism, and he rewrote them in a way that looks just like the wave equation. Then Einstein said, well, what if light comes in these little packets like you were saying before? What if light is not this continuous stream of energy like a wave is, right? A wave is continuous streams of energy. What if it comes in theselittle bits? And that explained everything.
