Vincent: I was amazed because we learned this from our collaborator, Richard Valley. It works. You can put plasmids in and they actually get produced. And then we took out at birth, you can take out the mice and you can look for expression of the gene. Vincent: There's more BRGs when they electroporated the modern human gene compared to the Neanderthal version. Four times more and there's no effect on the BIPs, which are the ones that continue to make extra neurons.
