The Role of Social Media in the Youth Mental Health Crisis
There is likely some contribution that social media has made to what we now are calling a youth mental health crisis. But those of us who have been in psychology for decades will readily tell you the youth mentalhealth crisis started long before social media. It's very much due with stress, polarization, and longstanding concerns about inadequate mental health care in the US.
