The Closure of South Boston High School

After a year and a half of anti-bussing violence that led to the closing of South Boston High. All weapons would be confiscated as well as Afrocombs and spray deodorants. Metal detectors were installed in high schools. Teachers went to a three day seminar with teachers from other states who had been through busing issues.
