The Debt Crisis - Why Is It So Important?
The issue of debt has played a role in creating and sustaining poverty and inequality across the world. Debt has also been used to create a global economy that's been organized interests of corporations and western governments. The jubilee movement managed to win a hundred and 30 billion dollars worth of det concullationd even though this was a massive victory, actually the structures that created debt in the first place are still firmly in place. And so many global south countries continueto locked in an extractive economic system, which is now maintained through structures that enable corporations to continue to evade and avoid paying taxes.
