Daniel Penny's Charges in the Death of Jordan Neely
Daniel Penny is charged with second-degree manslaughter after placing Jordan Neely in a chokehold on May 1st. Prosecutors stressed he maintained that chokehold for several minutes, even after the F train had arrived on its next stop. The case still will go to a grand jury that will review it and decide which charges, if any, they find appropriate. It comes after a wild night of storms with nearly two dozen twisters reported across five states.
