Is This a Transitory Spike?
The inflation rate, as i just mentioned, is up. The federal reserve and the majority of wall street a fund managers think that that is transitory because there's been a spike in airline tickets,. Airline tickets, restaurants, hotels, rental cars are about 14 % of what makes up the c p i index. But if you look at the persistent, or the non transitory, they made a new multa year high. Those things like shelter and home prices and rents and medical and everything else that's not associated with the economy reopening continue to move up.
