The qualities of mindfulness need to be practised, and not just in a meditation session. The more we can remind ourselves to intentionally bring our attention into the present moment, no matter what we're doing, we're practising mindfulness. So much so that even though the meditation ends and we join our day again, the practice is still very much in effect.
