The Universe Is Not What We're Talking About, Right?

The universe of its smoothed out state, the photons will form this sort of fermal radiating state. And if you just squashing that back, the conformal squashing, will also increase the temperature. You have this very remote future, very, very cold, this enormously hot big bang. But it's not at odds with our current picture of what will ultimately happen with the universe. The black holes will evaporate by hawking evaporation. They w mainly photons running round. Just scaling it down produces a very, very hot, condensed universe.
