The Importance of MFA in Public Cloud Environments
Many of these organizations will have MFA on their internal IDP side, for corporate employees and stuff. But they're just missing out on configuring MFA on the public cloud environment side. 68% of these organizations have external users with admin permissions to public cloud environment which makes governance a big challenge. And it does increase the risk of supply chain attack where one of these vendors were to get hit and threat actor leverages their access to target organization's data set.
