How to Deal With Guilt
Perhaps you harbor a similar narrative about yourself, which leads you to both want and not want to do things like have a rest. It's easy to grasp rationally that our guilt centre is misfiring - but emotions change more slowly. Don't give up on reflecting on your sense of guilt, and noticing when it doesn't make sense. Your emotions take a while to catch up with your rational side, but they do catch up eventually. Or at least, they move in the right direction.
