Bed Bath and Beyond's Demise Signals Something Bigger
The retail giant says it plans to close its 360 stores and 120 buy-by-baby locations, putting around 14,000 jobs at risk. Founded in 1971 to compete with the home goods sections of department stores, Bed Bath and Beyond became known for its rows upon rows of bed sheets, towels and kitchen gadgets. Gift cards are still good until May 8th, and you have until Wednesday to use those coupons.
