Population decline was felt for centuries. The experience of such a high and persist aregime of epidemic mortality means that european population nd doesn't really recover to its pre black death, early fourteenth century levels until something like the seventeenth century. There is y a crisis m in the agricultural sector, but also as well in towns and cities where you've got lots of manufacturing work taking place with continuing waves of plague hitting europe. It's not so simple to talk about an end of the black death. This was something that returned in waves and rolled ondown centuries.
