Do You Feel Sad for Teddy's Parents?

Teddy's cats were left at his parents' house and they were bringing them up. The juxtaposition of Teddy being there was "pretty wild, kind of a wild ride" Do you feel that Teddy still has a deep seated psychological issue with the fact that his brother passed away so young? I can't imagine it's been easy on any of them dealing with a lot of Teddy's antics. For sure, as a parent, as a new parent, I got to wonder who will my son be when he grows up?
