The CPA's Vision of a New Sudan

There was a lot of compromise going back and forth. Ultimately the CPA what it came down to is that the government of Sudan agreed that the South would hold a referendum. People could vote to remove themselves from Sudan and establish their own nation. There's still that conflict in Abbei over the petroleum which is very interesting because all the petroleum has to go north up to the port in Sudan to be put on ships. So there's still that area where they've got to compromise but anyways the ultimate decision was to go with a new nation that new nation was established.
