Historically, this came up in terms of geometrya euclid e Euclidian geometry. But then 18 hundred people developed non ucudian geometries which ware ways to interpret these rules that were not intended. This leads to different interpretations of the basic rules of mathematics that disagree with each other. And so mathematical statements in one universe of mathematics are true, and a different universe is false.
