What's Happening at Rutgers?
The Fortest University was built to be an important realm for upward mobility and training a workforce. What we've seen in the neoliberal period is a deeply indebted university, where students have to take out enormous loans. The replacement of a permanent protected class of academic workers with a contingent workforce that is really akin to subcontracting.
