Challenges in Heart Failure

GLP1 receptor agonist are quite effective in metabolism, particularly in the decrease of glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes and is effective also in obesity. Both agents have a beneficial effect in terms of total mortality and cardiovascular mortality. As we mentioned, although there are minor differences in the effect of each of these two drugs, both are compatible in patients with heart failure, in patients withtype 2 diabetes and in patients with kidney disease.
