Mike Ashley is someone who does what he wants and doesn't care what people are invested in at things. He appoints Keegan because he thinks it will hit the right notes, there's no recent evidence of him as a coach to suggest that would be a great appointment. And then he brings back Sheira on, as you say, no more than a romantic notion that he feels willhit the right notes for the supporters. For someone who doesn't care about what anyone involved with his business thinks, apart from himself, the fact that he does these things to curry favor with supporters, it's a bit of a weird.
