The Importance of Metaphors in Evangelism

How do you balance a clear statement of the propositions of the gospel with the value of using metaphors and illustrations to help people understand what we mean by those words? I think sometimes people maybe go on one of two sides. They're very propositional and it can actually be hard to grasp. And then on the other hand, they're constantly spouting a new metaphor illustration,. But they're rarely talking about Jesus and the cross and the resurrection. Yeah. Well, I think they're both important. The most important thing is to make sure that your metaphors are as, as, as tight to the meaning of the propositions that you're trying to illustrate as possible.
