Jonathan Healy is the author of The Blazing World, A New History of Revolutionary England. His book looks at how a society grappling with deep-lying social problems and inflationless times led to radical political change in 17th century Britain. But he says it also shows that people were not less intelligent than us - they just didn't deal with them very well. Jonathan: We're dealing with complicated problems; we need to remind ourselves of the fallibility of those in power.
