The process for voting, registering and then actually voting is complicated. Reading edge that you need to understand the material is way off the scale compared to what's required. The people who work in polling places are often not government employees but who are temporary workers who are volunteers. There may be design work that you could volunteer to help with. We're going to have to do an election template for this September.
