CT Angio in Patients With Acute Kidney Injury?
Dr. Hopadfeld: I have noticed a lot of patients with lower GI bleeds getting CT angios in the ED, and I think that's appropriate because yeah, if you can identify an active bleed that can be managed by IR, that's great. The real question is if the patient with the lower GI bleed comes in and they have an acute kidney injury, should I get a CT angio with contrast? That's the real question. And so that's what my paper is all about.
