What Is Bad Behaviour in Mediaeval England?
Everybody had their place in society, and this was shown by how you edress. A beggar with no shoes has to step off the sidewalk,. as it would have been called, to let you go by. And if the king goes by, or anybody on horseback who's bound to be above you, you have to get out of their way. If they look like a lord, you've got to bend the knee and actually remove your pedwhere so it's all very polite.
